Why different Schools of Astrology have similar predictions -- the underlying cosmic laws.

Are predictions more accurate using my western (sun) sign or using my Indian Moon Rashi? 

Which system of Astrology is better and more accurate? 

In this post i wish to create a background about the 7 cosmic laws of Astrology that i would share on this blog in coming days. 

There are many different forms of Astrology. To mention a few broad methodologies there is a Western (Tropical) Astrology, a Chinese Astrology, and the Vedic (Sidereal) Astrology used predominantly in India. But these are just the one's that use birth charts and planetary alignments to make predictions. There are many others that don't use these charts. These include Tarot card readings, Palmistry, Numerology, Face reading, Aura reading to name a few.

Even Vedic (Sidereal) Astrology is further divided into many branches like Parashari, Jaimini, KP Astrology, Nadi Astrology by Umang Taneja, Nadi Astrology (thumb print based), Bhrigu methodology and so many others. 

Hardcore followers of all these different methodologies claim their own method to be the most detailed, accurate and useful. 

At the same time, it has been seen that the predictions, results and guidance given by all these numerous forms of Astrology are but mostly the same or have very similar guidance / prediction given to the consul-tee. 

So why do all these different methods give similar or many times the same result and prediction? 

A few things one can definitely say from such an observations are that

1. Astrology is not a bogus guess work, if different theories or methodologies are coming to similar results. 

2. There must be some underlying cosmic law or wisdom that has been used to derive and invent all these different forms of Astrology. They are all derivations from the a common knowledge or source. Hence , like Algebra, different methods reach the same result. 

There is a common deep knowledge, a common source, a deeper understanding of the nature of reality and the cosmos that was known to the ancients. And from that deep understanding they invented #Astrology. From that deeper understanding they invented different methods or ways to predict the flow of events in our cosmos (Space - time). And hence a multiple number of methods were born. Some used observing Numbers around us (Numerology), Some used the lines on our face and hands ( Palmistry and Face reading), Some used the way stones would all from a height ( Ancient Methodology), Some used the thoughts and Intensity of the Human Mind at a given moment ( Prashna Kundli) and some others used the alignment and arrangement of Planets from the point of observation of the seeker ( Birth chart, Kundli methods like Vedic and Western Astrology). Further ahead, different ways of seeing the charts as well (e.g from Ascendant, From Sun etc.)

All these different methods originated from the same deeper bottom line understanding of the ways of Nature and 'Reality'. 

But what are those underlying laws of nature? And what is that deeper understanding that leads to the origin of various forms of Astrology? Can i invent new methods and new forms of Astrology by understanding these laws?
