The 5th Law - Why do 'Aspects' work in Astrology - The Source and the One - Ommm...

Thank you for going through Part 1 of the 5th law. How did you like it? Was it interesting, or was it too much Physics for a spiritual blog. Let me know your views in the comment section below.

Coming to the main theme and idea of the 5th law,

It states that,

'Everything is connected to a common source, a common point may be outside the universe.

It is either a common point, a common energy, a common field, or a common soul ('Paramaatma') beyond this universe.

It says,

"We are all connected, to the 'source''. We are one.

All examples given in part 1 point towards this possibility in 1 form or the other. We all have an 'extra-dimensional' component in us. All the particles making us have it, so in theory we do have it too.

There is an electron field, from which electrons emerge and enter 'Spacetime'. They disappear into the same field. They interact with each other within 'Spacetime' and seem to be separated by some distance (space) or by time, but outside 'spacetime' they may not be separate after-all. There are fields for all particles they say. And May be all these fields also emerge from a 'Common Source field'.

Every particle has some mass, but as it's speed increases, it gains more and more mass and shrinks in size. At light speed, a boundary is reached. Now the particle has infinite mass and zero size. Time stops ticking for the particle.

A Photon of light experiences no passage of time, It is massless, and has no size. If a Photon of light travels from the sun to earth, for us (the observers in spacetime) it has travelled billions of kilometers and it took it 8 minutes and 19 seconds to reach the earth from the sun, but if you as the Photon, from the perspective of the photon , it has not experienced any passage of time, and neither has it's location changed. It is still in the same place, and no time has passed. Same is the case for any particle that will reach the speed of light ( 108,00,00,000 Km/hour).

Time and distance is an illusion felt by those that live and exist within 'Space-time' , that live within this universe and measure it from inside the universe.

When you reach the boundaries of this universe, like 'the speed of light' or the temperature of 'Zero' Kelvin, you are in a way at the boundary of spacetime and in link with the 'beyond', in my view.

As if all mass, (or no mass) and everything is 'there' and it just enters this cosmos for a temporary 'Sequence'.

Now my point of sharing this info was that may be all of us are connected to a common source, a common field, outside our univers-al existence. And that is the reason of things influencing each other beyond seemingly unrelated ways.

Could this be one of the reasons how 'Planets' in the solar system and all the 'Nakshatras' are also connected to us?

I am not sure but there are other reasons as well why Astrology works and as we complete reading all the 7 laws and a few more chapters, i am sure things will start to make a lot more sense. And i am pretty sure, you are loving it so far as well.

And if everything is connected to everything else, via a common source, or via fields and connections 'outside the universe' then this is from where we can derive the concept 'Aspects' or 'Drishti' in Astrology.

We are all connected, to the source!

Avid readers of Astrology must be aware of the concept of 'Aspects' in Astrology. It is present in both 'Vedic' and "Western' Astrology.

In Vedic, the strongest aspect is considered to be a point exactly 180° opposite to it. Some other special aspects also exist for some planets, e.g Jupiter showing a 5th and 9th house aspect, or Mars showing a 4th and 8th house aspect.

Similarly, there are aspects in the western charts as well. They are called triene, sextiles and squares, representing aspects at 5th house ( 120° triene, 180° and 240° etc. ) or 90 degree and 270 degree (squares).

In reality what i have observed in my decade long study and practice is that, there is a 'connection' or 'aspect' every 30 degrees from the original (or visible) placement of a planet in the zodiac circle.

For example, let's say Mars is placed in the 1st house at 14 degrees, than it is connected to (aspecting) every point that is in multiples of 30 degrees to it. Means it is 'Connected to' every point that is at 14 degrees in all other houses, i.e 14 degrees 2nd house, 14 degrees, 3rd house, 14 degrees in the 4th house and so on. And so if there are any other planets in the birth chart at 14 degrees or (+/- 2 degrees) , than they are bound to be under the influence of Mars (or getting an aspect from Mars) albeight weak or strong. This aspect is weakest in 6th and 12th house from the placement of Planet Mars and strongest in 7th house, but present in all houses.

Now, this may not go with your conventional knowledge on aspects. In Vedic, you learn a 4th, 7th and 8th house aspect for Mars. If you have read deeper, these aspects also have different strengths as per 'Parashar Hora Shastra' (a Vedic Classical text book), and in Western, they will say it is more so in 4th, 5th, 7th, 9th and 10th house, but at almost same degrees. So who is correct? Answer is, both are correct.

It is more about the degrees of the planet and every point that is in multiple of 30 degrees has an aspect.

Although , we are all connected. Mars is connected to every other point in the zodiac, all 360 degrees, and 'outside' the universe, all these planets are but 1, the same common energy at some higher level, but even within the universe, they are connected to some specific points. And these points are usually in a sequence where they can form a symmetry.

And hence every point at 30 degrees, 60 degrees, 90 degrees to 180 degrees, to 240 degrees and so on, that is in multiple of the original location is in theory, 'in contact' with the planet mars and receiving an 'Aspect' from it. And hence any planets or bodies at those locations are in a way, 'connected' or Aspecting each other.

This is how you should see aspects. I will share more in another article, that is dedicated to Aspects alone.

The source, from which other oceans emerge, which create particles and interactions within this World.

The Ocean and it's waves. Is the wave separate from the ocean, or the same ocean interacting with itself in another domain. The wave is the Lord, the ocean is the source.

As above, So below.

Lord Vishnu rests on the 'Cosmic ocean' that is the source of all creation. All this worldly 'Maya' originates from the ocean and merges back into it.

Is it a common source, a point, of infinity, from where everything emerges, or a

Source field or an ocean from which other sub fields or particles emerge, which further give birth to particles (and us).

Or is reality a combination of these with , more to know...

Is the whole universe connected to a single point, outside the universe, or it is something else....

I have not fully realised or solved this puzzle, but i 'feel' and 'sense' it, and i share with you, what i sense....

I don't want you to cram or blindly follow this article, i want you to read and 'try to connect'. I want you to understand and run your own imagination,

As they say, 'Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution.'

I know this was deep and, I hope the 2nd part of this article did make sense to you and you would thank me for sharing the information in part 1 with you for making a point.

Let me know how did you like this 5th postulate.

See you next time with the next one,

Until then,

Yours truly,

Dr. Rohit Sharma
